Ryan McCall was the victim of a heinous crime and taken from his family and friends on August 19, 2009.
McCall was a senior at the University of Tampa, where he working towards his degree in Allied Health. As a rising athlete, McCall was a contributing cross-country and track runner while also serving as a coach at Tampa Prep. More than an athlete and scholar; Ryan McCall was a positive influence on everyone who knew him.
To honor Ryan and the ideals he believed in, the Ryan P. McCall Foundation, Inc. was created. The mission of the Ryan P. McCall Foundation, Inc. is to carry out Ryan’s vision of helping others and giving back to the community.
The Foundation has started multiple events to provide support to local organizations and team apparel to students, including:

Ryan’s Run is a dedication to Ryan McCall and the ideals that he believed in. Portions of event proceeds support the Children’s Cancer Center, and to organizations including the Tampa Police Memorial Fund, C.O.P.S. and Ryan’s Team Apparel project. Learn More about Ryan’s Run here.

Our Team Apparel project aims to give back to athletic organizations. A percentage of every dollar spent on uniforms or equipment will be given back to your athletic organization to help pay the fees for children, who otherwise may not be able to afford it.
